The magic of SWAROVSKI® crystals

The SWAROVSKI® brand was founded in 1895 in Austria by Daniel Swarovski, after inventing a particular machine capable of cutting the crystal to perfection.

SWAROVSKI® crystals remained a niche product for years until they were noticed by the world of fashion, which from 1920 chose them to embellish their creations. Coco Chanel, Christina Dior and Balenciaga are just some of the stylists who participated in the rise of the brand.

Subsequently, in 1956, SWAROVSKI® gave life to a series of very special jewels. Thanks to a thin blue metallic coating vaporized on the crystals, the jewels acquired an unusual “aurora borealis”, which we can translate into the simpler “rainbow effect”. It was an immediate success. People were amazed by the multiple reflections that still capture the attention of millions of people and so distribution began on a large scale.

SWAROVSKI® is currently an empire of around 3,000 stores scattered around the world.

Linea Calì was one of the first companies in the world to understand that these magical crystals could also be used to embellish everyday objects, “simple” handles, making them protagonists.

In 1990 Linea Calì began to produce the first handle with SWAROSKI® crystals which was a great success for people that were looking for an elegant and refined but at the same time “important” handle and which was, in addition to being practical and safe, also an object to be proudly exhibited.

Since then, time has passed and over the years, Linea Calì has produced tens of thousands of handles with crystals, to the point of being one of the few companies in the world to possess the SWAROVSKI® certificate, which gives it the title of Ingredient Branding Partners.

Linea Calì currently presents over 30 models of handles, knobs, coat racks, built-in plates, doorstops and pull handles.
